Regal Cinemas to show classic Films for coronavirus reopening
In agreement with the CDC’s social distancing guidelines, all theaters will have a 50 percent reduced capacity when they reopen on July 10. Additionally, Regal will increase cleanings between showings in addition to introducing contactless payment.
Customers and employees are also required to wear facemasks and gloves.
The National Association of Theatre Owners has also issued guidelines for the reopening of movie theaters.
Regal Cinemas, among the largest movie theater chains in the United States, has announced a plan to show classic movies and fan favorites when they reopen rather than blockbuster titles.
According to Variety, the theatre chain plans to show favorites such as”The Empire Strikes Back,””Jaws” and”Black Panther.”
On July 17, The Nolan series, including”Inception” and”Interstellar” will be screened along with the 2017 live-action remake of”Beauty and the Beast”.
The move comes just weeks before the release of”Mulan” on July 24 and”Tenet” on July 31.
